Holy cow…where did 2008 go?? Don’t get me wrong…I am glad that it is gone because now we are THAT much closer to Mike coming home and his deployment being over!! WOO HOO!! I have done a lot of reflecting the last few days cuz I guess that is what you are supposed to do at the start of a new year, right? There are many things that I have changed in 2008 about myself and the way I live my life and for the most part, I am pretty darn pleased with those changes. There are still a few things that I know I need to work on but let’s take a dose of reality here people…I am only human and can only change so much at one time. LOL

There are so many things I am looking forward to for this new year. First and foremost, I already mentioned is Mike coming home to us. I am SO THANKFUL that the bumps in the road that we hit when he was first deployed in February 2008 didn’t stop us from continuing down our road together. I am GRATEFUL for his love for me and for his dedication to me, our girls and his job to serve our country. *Honey…I know I don’t say it often enough most times and when I do think to mention it, I am sure you get tired of hearing it LOL but I am SO PROUD of you and what you have chose to do for us, your family!! I love you with all my heart and as we near another year together…I am REALLY looking forward to renewing everything that we might have let slip away in the past (almost) 10 years…I love you so much and miss you terribly!!!!*

Ok…got a little sidetracked there but I had to put that in here. After all, what would a post about the New Year be without mentioning the love of my life?? EXACTLY!! I was planning on putting some really cool things in this post about my expectations for the New Year and even *GASP* some Resolutions but you know what…I have warmed my heart for the evening just by mentioning Mike and this being the year that he comes home. So guess what??!! You are going to have to wait for that post to come later on. I have next week off of school and the girls go back to school *FINALLY LMAO* on Monday…so next week is my time to do laundry and work on my site. So…be on the lookout for another post from me really around Monday or so…maybe I’ll surprise you all and post it this weekend but I am thinking the girls aren’t going to allow that.

Catch you all *whoever is out there that even still checks my website out LOL or is interested in my babbling* later…hopefully in a few days and NOT longer!! I REALLY do miss fiddling with my website.

My site is “up to date” and I am getting back into the excitement of maintaining a website again!! I was afraid for a little while there that I had lost that ambition but it has come back!! It is a wonderful feeling too!!

Now that I have gotten back into this web building stuff…I can finally create Bekah and Madi’s sites for them too. They will be so excited!! Bekah has even asked if I could build a website for her teacher for the class this year. I told her we could suggest it to her teacher and see what she thinks of the idea.

Ok…I have lots of school work to do and very little time to do it in. I will be back in a little bit to post some more stuff.

OH before I go…for all you Firefox browser users…check out the Countdown list on the right side of my site…there is a date there that I added for next year…can you figure out why it is so special??!!??!! I made it a little “encrypted” so you might have to think about it for a little bit. LOL  For all you Internet Explorer users…the Countdown list is not showing up (at least on my end it isn’t)  I am not sure why but hopefully Marina and I can put our heads together and figure it out soon so you guys can see the date I am talking about. OR you can click on the link on the left side of my site and download Firefox and use that as your internet browser. LMAO It is up to you.
